High School Pot Usage Rising While Youth Alcohol Consumption Is Down

A new national survey implies that youth Pot usage is up and teenage alcohol consumption is dropping.

In the annual report, researchers interviewed 8th, 10th, and 12th graders spread across the country, and realized that marijuana, ecstasy and heroine use is on the rise.

They survey shows that young adults who smoke Marijuana on a daily basis has tripled in the last decade, but their perceived risk on the drug has dropped.

The report also figured out that more young adults smoke Pot than cigarettes.

A high school student tells that cigarettes are more difficult to get than illegal drugs, which is sad.

The rise in Marijuana use maybe contributed to the legalization of medical Marijuana in some states.

The report also discovered that prescription drug abuse is on the rise.

The main way to fight this topic is through sensible education on the matter.

In a search on marijuana abuse, I assembled several related articles and decided to include some of them below.
