Overstock.com Is Getting Sued By 7 Northern California Attorneys For Erroneous Price Comparisons

7 Northern California district lawyers are sueing Overstock.com. The organization is being sued on accusations that they frequently misdirect people about their cheaper prices.

The lawyers are hoping for $15 million.

Overstock denies the allegations and reports that individuals are told how the organization arrive at the comparison prices.

I wonder if this is an instance of board lawyers just searching for a reason to sue someone and get some money. It should be thrown out of court. Overstock.com has been a good company and appears to be following all the laws. Even if Overstock.com is triumphant, it will cost them a lot of dollars in attorney fees.
