Adolescent Pot Usage Up While Youth Alcohol Drinking Is Going Down

A new national publication implies that adolescent Marijuana usage is up and young adult alcohol consuming is going down.

In the yearly report, experts surveyed 8th, 10th, and 12th graders across the country, and figured out that marijuana, ecstasy and heroine use is on the rise.

They report shows that young adults who smoke Mary Jane on a daily basis has tripled in the last ten years, but their sensed risk on the drug has declined.

The survey also figured out that more young adults smoke Marijuana than cigarettes.

A high school student indicates that cigarettes are more challenging to get a hold of than pot, which is sad.

The rise in Marijuana use maybe contributed to the legalization of medical Marijuana in some states.

The report also figured out that prescription drug abuse is on the rise.

The greatest way to counteract this problem is through proper education on the subject.
