Young Adult Marijuana Usage Rising While Adolescent Alcohol Drinking Is Down

A new national report indicates that teenage Pot usage is rising and teen alcohol consumption is dropping.

In the yearly survey, officials interviewed 8th, 10th, and 12th graders across the country, and found that marijuana, ecstasy and heroine use is rising.

They survey indicated that adolescents who smoke Pot on a daily basis has tripled in the last ten years, but their sensed risk on the drug has declined.

The survey also discovered that more teenagers smoke Marijuana than cigarettes.

A high school student suggests that cigarettes are more challenging to get than illegal drugs, which is sad.

The rise in Pot use maybe because of the legalization of medical Pot in some states.

The report also found that prescription drug abuse is on the rise.
